That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about how he was so damn good with certain people, & then became a ****head after they were gone.
If he was as unbelievably awesome as his rabid fanbase believes, he should have handled the changes better.

No tyson is not the best fighter in the last 20 years I don't even think he is top 10 of the last 20 years overall maybe in the HW division but thats still questionable IMO.I think he is grossly overrated.

I think jail, Don King, ex wives and Tyson himself screwed Tyson.

              Tyson

Tyson is the greatest ever, he would beat any heavyweight there ever was. as far as accomplishments go no he would not be the best that would have to be ali and all the great opponents he beat.

but tyson vs ali prime of prime tyson would have knocked him out.

im seeing a lot of people on here say tyson never won a tough fight.

well first off thats not true and next he always dominated them.

the first time he ever struggled was the buster douglas fight and may i remind you all he knocked him down in the 8th round for 13-14 seconds. the fight should have been stopped.

next time he had any problems was the razor ruddock fights.

by problems i mean he was never hurt but that was just the most he had been hit in a fight besides douglas.

tyson took bombs from ruddock in both fights and never even backed up much less went down.

tyson put him down twice in the first fight and stopped him in 7.

ruddock landed some good punches in the rematch also and tyson was the one who knocked him down and hurt him a good bit.

so that proves tyson won fights when he was tested and when the other fighter fought back.

also the botha fight tyson lost every round until the 5th when he placed a perfect right cross right on bothas chin and knocked him out.

tysons one of the most exciting fighters of the last 20 years, he is one of the best in the heavy division, i think he did have a couple of fights where he had to fight back but also remember he hardly ever won a fight he was losing on the cards which is a shame, for example against douglas, holy, the only one i can think of is vs botha, any other fight hes been dominated in hes been stopped, shame

Tyson in his prime would have beaten any heavyweight of any era
imo.But that is only based of what he could potentially do.He hit
self destruct and we never got to see how great he could have been.Even so,he still accomplished great things in boxing and will never be forgotten but to answer the question i would have to say no.

Not only that, but his style didn't really change enough to blame his trainer. My point is, even if he had maintained his conditioning, the larger fighters with a defense would have always given him problems.

I also think Holmes was a much better fighter than tyson and would have beaten him easily, had he been in top form. Tyson was still the most exciting heavy I can think of from that era, but I don't consider him the best.
