    Did Tyson wear built up shoes to protect his chin?

    Did Tyson wear built up shoes to protect his chin?. If you look at his boxing shoes . They had a very big heel in them . Could the cushioning in them have helped him absorb the heavy punches he took from Ruddock and Lewis?.

              if Fight Night Round 2 has taught us anything, it's that wearing expensive trunks will improve your power punching power and expensive shoes improve your punching speed.

              So no, the shoes helped Tyson improve his punching speed.
