    Floyd Scheduling a FIght?

Im a big Mayweather fan but I admit I am sick of this ****. It seems like he never gets a fight done until the last second and we always have to wait and wonder. Thats ok if your going to fight a top guy but it sucks if you make everyone wait and hope for something great and then you end up with a fight with Joel or Mitchell. Those are solid fights but nothing to wait for.

I hope they hurry up and get a deal done. I think he will move up to 147 and fight Mitchell as a tough tune up for Zab, being that he is a lefty who can box and that way he can get used to the weight

I agree... Mitchell is shot to pieces and is 38yrs old. He ain't a tough tune up for anyone these days.

The 2nd Castillo fight was back in 2002' - Hasn't Mayweather had enough tune up fights before stepping up in class again?

I don't buy that... I really am starting to believe that it's Mayweather that isn't making these fights happen.

On **********.net he was being interviewed the other day, and when asked why he turned down 50/50 split on the Judah fight he replied, "Zab Judah needs to learn a thing about market value".

It's not as if Mayweather is a PPV fighter. And Judah took $100,000 to go into Corey Spinks's backyard to get those welterweight belts off him. Judah is now the undisputed welterweight champion of the world, and Mayweather expects Judah to take a cut to fight him??? AND MAYWEATHER'S NOT EVEN A BIG ROLLER OR PPV FIGHT????

I think it's Mayweather that needs to learn a little bit about this business.

I respect your opinion. But I look at it Differently. As far as I am concerned Mayweather is the best in boxing right now. He deserves the lions share of the money based on that alone because he has the most to lose in my eyes. #1 P4P is a spot not given to most in this sport and right now everyone has Floyd in that spot. So until he gets knocked off that perch he deserves 60/40 in every Major fight he takes. If I am Zab Judah and I think I can win I am taking 60/40 to beat his ass and take that away from him. If I am Zab Judah who knows I cant win then I am gonna ask for more money than I am worth. Just my opinion on the money matter. However If Floyd wasn't P4P #1 then I would agree with you.

I maybe a little bit hard on Mayweather from time to time, but that's because I really REALLY wanna see him in the ring with someone half decent.

I'm getting bored of him beating up the likes of Sosa/N'Dou/Corley/Bruselles/Gatti - None of these are genuine world class fighters. I wanna see how Mayweather fairs against a young hungry Hatton or Cotto... Or even a seasoned pro like Witter/Tszyu/Margarito.

I agree with you. We all want those mega fights for floyd. I think we will get some of those next year. I think the Hatton fight will come off because Hatton wants to cement his legacy and would probably fight Floyd for next to nothing if he had too. Same with Cotto once he gets some more fights underneath his belt. Witter wants a fight with a top guy soon. I dont think floyd will fight witter though because floyd has that mentallity of dont fight tough guys unless they generate money. Not that many outside of the UK know who witter is and if they do know who witter is all they know is that Zab beat his ass. Same thing with Margarito. So right now Mitchell gets the nod. I hope the first mega fight of next year for Floyd is Hatton though. Floyd vs Hatton will be an Awsome action packed fight, I think. Oh and on second thought Floyd might not have a choice but to fight witter because I think witter will be his mandatory defense for that 140 title(correct me if I am wrong).

Witter is the mandatory... Witter has to defend his British belt against Colin Lynes in a couple of weeks... But the WBC are doing their "Playing games" by now saying that Witter has to fight Branco sometime near the end of 2005' to secure the mandatory position.

Wow that is a waste of time. Witter should kill Branco. Well as long as he doesnt get lazy but it should still be an easy fight for him. Well lets just hope some big fights happen soon. I would love to see Witter vs Hatton that would be a huge fight over here in england I would drive anywhere to see that fight. Cotto vs Witter would be a good fight as well, I give witter a very good chance of beating Cotto. I would also love to see Hatton Vs Cotto. I really want to see Ricardo Torres again when he is properly prepared and conditioned he looks like he could be a great 140lber. Mayweather vs Any of those guys would also be good fights. Well lets just hope we get some of those fights to happen so the fans can be Happy.
