Is Corley one of Floyd's better opponents? No, he is one of the worst. Yet, he stunned and hurt Floyd several times early on(yes Floyd beat him pretty bad as the fight wore on, as he should have). Watch those rounds and you'll see Floyd had trouble with the angles, he didn't see some right hooks and some lefts snuck right through his guard.

Corley stunned all the big name fighters he's fought!!! Just because your not ELITE don't mean you can't put together a good showing from time to time. Augustas has a record that clearly don't reflect the kind of fighter he was, I mean hey...look at Baldomir, he sucks but he put enough together to be the Lineal Champ, get a couple of big time fights and he also got F.O.Y with that same crap record.

glen johnson is another one hes a hard fight for anyone but has never been super elite, i guess people forget that all these guys are professional boxers...

What people needs to realize is, its very hard to look good against a southpaw. The way your bodies face eachother makes everything look sloppy when trying to put punches together. If floyd doesnt do a good job against southpaws than can someone please tell me what orthodox fighter does better?

he struggled versus reggie sanders = evidence
he struggled versus paul spadafora = evidence
he struggled versus sharmba mitchell = evidence
he struggled versus demarcus corley = evidence
he struggled versus zab judah = evidence

u think maybe its because he was in a fight with a pro boxer that he got hit? hell im a regular guy with a job and when i spar against people who do it professionaly i get some hits in myself!!!! how much more another professional?
