hmmm...theres no knee jerk reaction here. Lets break down your pointsI wonder if you are correct about that ?
A lot of posters endure compulsive knee-jerk reactions on this site.
Lets quickly review what we know for sure, and then see how the latest revelations fit in with that.....
1.) Tim Bradley..... " ducking " ?
2.) Amir Khan..... " generous " ?
You could be right.
1) What does ducking mean in boxing? If Boxer A does not want to fight Boxer B since he fears that loosing to Boxer B would diminish his chance of landing a mega fight with manny or Floyd. What would you call that? I would definetly call that DUCKING!
2) Amir khan generous? Ofcourse he was generous. 50% U.K ppv revenew offered to an American fighter who can not even sell a 2000 venue in his hometown. Damn right thats generous.
After all the talking and telling Amir to 'stop running' Timmy just *****ed out and thats a FACT! I bet if Khan did the same thing after talking so much trash you would be all over him.Comment

Whoah, hold on..... how did you come to that conclusion? The two very short concise points that I made were based on fact (history), not opinion.
" 2) Amir khan generous? Ofcourse he was generous. 50% U.K ppv revenew offered to an American fighter who can not even sell a 2000 venue in his hometown. Damn right thats generous. "
You missed the point. Khan's offer WAS extremely generous, ridiculously so, especially in line with what Judah got offered.
Let me justify my two comments.....
We are attempting to evaluate what happened, based on precedents.
Instead of jumping to conclusions, most likely based on twitter comments and the like, lets deal with the two facts that we know before this fight was discussed.....
1.) Bradley dont duck, end of story
2.) Khan is not generous, and is in fact starting to make a bad name for himself. Team Khan are starting to look like the K2 of the JWW division, and have made an art-form out of making ****ty one-sided offers.
3.) Bradley's promotional situation is up in the air
Sorry dude, but I am going to stick with the facts, at least until more information comes to light. You have a good point, and 50/50 of the UK money was a great deal - IF, Bradley was in a position to accept it.
An honest assessment of this situation will not infer "cowardice" toward Bradley, because the three facts listed above are quite clear and cannot simply be forgotten just because we did not get to see the fight that we both want.
Point taken, but I strongly disagree.
That is a typical, against the run-of-play, knee-jerk conclusion.Comment

You make it seem like you are the only one on these forums who makes points based on facts and everyone else gives kneejerk reactions based on "twitter" posts.Hold on, your glossy analysis is incomplete.

If you cannot see that Bradley ducked the fight, I cant say much else to you. I am not saying this based on 'twitter posts' as you would love to assume. I base this on Bradleys interview in which he said himself that he won't fight Khan, as if he looses he wont get a shot at Manny or Flyod. I am sure you have seen that interview on youtube. If that interview does not convince you he ducked, theres nothing much else I can say to youComment

Nope, I haven't seen that.
I saw an interview where Bradley stated that he had promotional problems and that his career was on hold, and that Amir Khan was "definitely gonna get it"..... but nope, I did not see the one that you are talking about.
Interesting.
A surpising thing to say alright.
Where did you see the video interview ?Comment

I know. I love the way people act like if the fight didn't happen on the July 23 date, that that's it... they can never ever fight each other. Amir says he still wants it, Bradley still wants it. The only question really is whether it will happen at 140lbs or 147lbs.
