  • Jump on board the Khan train. Khoo khoo! My prediction!

Khan is going to decisively beat Zab at least 8 out of 12 rounds. Zab is lucky to have faced a limited guy in Mabuza, who beat a limited guy in Holt.

Zab has improved his defines a whole lot, yes that Pernell ducking, more patient style early on.

However, Pernell would punch back while on the defensive, a master at offense and defense at the same time.

Zab has become far too defensive, rarely throwing back when Mabuza threw shots. Mabuza air exactly a speed freak either, a straight up I am going to follow where you step and throw a punch when close. Mabuza didn't feint, isn't fast, and has a lack of smarts and still did good and dropped Zab.

Khan had abad fight, and I do believe that the Reenok gloves makes him lose snap. They look padded! However, that's OK, he will beat Zab to every round, almost.

Yes Zab is awkward, mug more now, and has speed, but when he doesn't throw, and has Khan on him for 12 rounds, he will have no answers. His only hope is a KO, and even then, Khan rarely leaves the chin out like Mabuza, or at least when he does, Zab will likely be getting hit or moving far away.

Khan's speed will make it hard for Zab, most definitely. Not only will Khan lead first in the exchanges, he will look mighty impressive if Zab tries to hit back.

This fight won't be exciting like a war, but you will see speed, and explosiveness. Now khan will show an offense, combination, speed and decent power. Zab will show a very good defense, decent power and good 1 or 2 shots.

It's gonna be a B level sweet Science match, for boxing fans, we won't say wow what a war, but I can gurantee you that even though it will be a little boring at times, it will be worth watching. Roach and Whitaker, both big names in our world. Let's see their plans.

Is it going to be an old star reignited? Or a passing of the torch to a young one?

My prediction, a Khan UD, 8 rounds at least. There is a smallc nance of a Zab Ko, and every fighter will get hit at least once in 12 rounds, but I don't think Zab will hit enough to hurt Khan to get it stopped.

Pretty much how I see the fight. Khan's range and speed will be too much. he will beat judah to the punch all night. He will 20-30 more punches a round. Zab will be more worried about NOT getting hit cleanly by Amir's combinations off the jab, than about landing his own shots.

BUT, Whitaker has him transitioning from defense to offense pretty good - he can explode on you with that uppercut or a lead pull counter much better. Still like you said Khan doesn't leave his chin out like that - and when he wants to go defensive he stays tight up in a shell and uses foot speed.

    117-111, and 118-110 x2 (10 rounds to 2) for khan.

Good post, I don't really agree with his offense and defense being together yet. From what I saw, he does try to time and let you walk into shots, but it is also kind of telegraphed because he waits so long. I want to watch Matthyse and Zab again just to see what's up.

Judah has decent head movement & upper body movement as of late, McCloskey's upper body movement had Khan confused lolllllllllll.

Mabuza dropped Judah and is a zombie and still managed to connect. In fact he won a few rounds.

Mabuza also has the speed of a turtle swimming away from a shark. Not very fast.

Indeed Khan couldn't connect much vs Mccklowskey, but he won EVERY round, something Judah did not do vs Mabuza.
