The Real Reason American Boxing is in Dry Patch?

The war on terror has been goin on for a decade now. The best recruits for the frontline come from the same place the best fighters come from and thus the best boxers. The boys from those streets in the USA who can fight joined up and are serving and many of them died in service.

Right now theres no-one on the Mayweather or Judah or Tyson level. When they were young and coming up it would be straiht the US Army recruitment line and get a JOB. For almost ten years now.

So now we have a hiatus in the output of talent in US boxing.

    Or am I wrong?

Truth. I completely agree. The good ones do wind up in the military.

The other ones drop boxing altogether and join gangs, sell drugs, etc etc.

not to mention all the americans that chose to play football, baketball, and baseball instead of getting punched in the face for a living.

You can get punched in the face for a living in the army too!

Then you go out and get shot at!

Tell me if I'm wrong but most military regimes do have boxing within the army. Have the army champion etc. These guys usuallly get the champ spot.

It doesn't work like that in the USA though.

The streetfighters are tougher than the police and they sign up for the army or get caught and go to jail. Then you could maybe sign up to go straight...

Well if thats a reason, now we know why puerto ricans are doing bad too. How many ricans you think serve in the military, hell we got some members here from the ARMY like Dambala for example. And hurts us more cause we are 75 times fewer than the US population.

                Excuses, excuses. My balls hurt.
