That **** would be horrendous, lets wait two weeks to figure out who won and look at a million different times.

No precedent for that at all and it would be TERRIBLE, ruin the sport TERRIBLE
There would have to be some sort of standard for reviewing controversial fights, so that it wouldn't happen often. Perhaps if a fighter protests the decision and some other factor as well. I don't know off the top of my head. But if there would be a way to minimize it and to use it as a tool to root out corruption and incompetent judging, again, I'd be all for it.

The biggest problem with our sport is what? Bull**** decisions. People get turned off by it big time. You have a casual fan who watches Williams-Lara and their reaction is that boxing is a joke and they don't want to watch anymore. It hurts our sport big time.

It wont happen, this is why promoters bribe judges.

You have 90 year old men like Donald Givens (who is a BOXING TRAINER and HAS TIES TO LOTS OF FIGHTERS) and has only a handfull of fights that he judged, why does he care if he takes a bribe?

and what can the commision do? Fire him? Who cares, these judges were nobodies who didnt judge any big fights, why do they care? They might get bribed 10 times and get caught once, not like they gotta return the money.

They will only get suspended and some training for them, nothing else.

Boxing is only sport where there is no quality control for Judges, most judges are senile old dudes who arent even able to drive, yet they are able to judge a fight?

They dont care if they screw up, not like they going to jail over it, besides they are old and retired and will croak soon, so who cares if they take the cash? Just some spending cash for them, its not like they are 20 years old and going to have a bad rep, nope they are old senile ****s who have reflexes of a 600lb cat.

They probably won give him the win but taking the loss of his record and an inmediate rematch will suffice...

WOW, Justice in boxing. This is great. While I don't agree it was such a blow out that HBO made it seem, still was a clear win for Lara.

They can't make a standard for judging and you want them to make an even greater bureaucracy?

I disagree about that being the biggest problem although I would consider it a part of the big problem. Lack of leadership and oversight overall, this is just a symptom of that larger issue.

Clap Clap victoria para Cuba.laras doesn't need to prove anything in a williams rematch.Move on, take a N/C (hopefully),and fight another opponent.Molina has been making some noise so a rematch sounds likely.

Guys, this is all a charade, they will send these clowns to "training", let the heat die off and let them judge again.

This is a common tactic used by companies, got a CEO or VP who said a bad word in the papers? Send him to sensitivity training and he comes back a new man!

Until theres a central authority on boxing judges, it will never get better.

Most judges are 80 years old, they dont care about the fighters, they wanna make some cash, theres no quality control in judging either. Theres no test if your good or not, just pay some money for a license and you good to go!

These dudes have slow reflexes and wouldnt be allowed to drive a car, but yet we trust them with judging our boxing fights where peoples careers are put in charge of 90 year olds who have no experience and dont care if they get fired for taking a bribe?

                  Cmon, man!

You had Lennox Lewis beating Vitali on points before the stoppage. Your score-card is as impressive as Burners
