this is getting interesting.

though Golden Boy had absolutely no problems with NOT using USADA for conducting the tests they want, WADA itself insists on using USADA.

i wonder what the Bobster's next move would be.

personally, i hope he'd finally relent and just allow USADA to conduct the tests. if he wants to, he could simply require hired professionals whom he trusts to monitor the conduct of the tests throughout the whole process.

of course, it goes without saying that those who would monitor the tests don't know WHEN the tests would occur. they are simply required to be readily available whenever the random tests are taken.

But you dont have a debate only an argument that goes of into fanboyism , Pac and Arum are wrong in this thats why in the end , and even though Floyd is the most hated fighter of our generation , he is right !! and the masses will see that , its happening the rope is tightening around Arums neck .

again, you have to look at this issue as is:

1. the boxing commissions presently do the testing of the fighters...

2. usada got only in the picture bcoz of floyd's demand on testing...

3. arum/pac's camp not comfortable with usada (for any reason, whatsoever)

4. gbp states they have no issue using another testing agency..(unless something to the contrary came up lately)

5. wada says usada is the best way to go at it....

6. but what wada says is not mandatory..

7. it still boils down to both parties agreeing to who should do the test....

They should just take the test that is offered by the best agency which is what floyd asked. I dont think pacs on peds btw..i just think arum is a crook.

I think the point is, if floyd and manny take the test. In the biggest fight in history which would make anp crazy amount of money and bring attention back to boxing worldwide. Maybe if that happened, ost would be used more in boxing and other sports. Right now its expensive and theres stilk an arguement over it until arum agrees to take the test.

Was there any clarification with regards to the time Pac would be training in the Philippines? From the interview, the WADA person said that the USADA is the local (meaning U.S.) Anti-Doping agency and it will provide testing for a number of very high-profile sports in America. However, it was not specified whether it can perform testing outside of the U.S.. Will Pac be tested by the NADO in the Philippines since it has the jurisdiction over Filipino athletes or would USADA's jurisdiction extend to the Philippines?

This question is very relevant because if the host country would have jurisdiction over any foreign athlete who will compete in the host's country, even if that athlete will be training in another country, then it follows that, in international games like the Olympics, the host country can legally test any foreign athlete anywhere in the world. China then could have demanded for Phelps, all the members of the U.S. basketball team and the rest of the U.S. athletes, to undergo the Chinese Anti-Doping Agency test while they were training in the U.S...

the truth is i don't know why the boxing commissions allowed this to happen...

why allow boxers who do not respect it to fight under the commission's jurisdiction..

If fighters get caught, which is more likely with random testing, the commission probably would still pick up the fine. Im sure the commission doesnt find any problems with random ost.
