I was trying to explain this to dum dums the other day that the wada will only use the usada because they are the accredited nado for competition in the united states .

This isn't news. I can't believe some people were actually hanging on to Bob Arum's words and assumed that WADA could just get up and start testing people themselves if they wanted to.

Was there any clarification with regards to the time Pac would be training in the Philippines? From the interview, the WADA person said that the USADA is the local (meaning U.S.) Anti-Doping agency and it will provide testing for a number of very high-profile sports in America. However, it was not specified whether it can perform testing outside of the U.S.. Will Pac be tested by the NADO in the Philippines since it has the jurisdiction over Filipino athletes or would USADA's jurisdiction extend to the Philippines?

This question is very relevant because if the host country would have jurisdiction over any foreign athlete who will compete in the host's country, even if that athlete will be training in another country, then it follows that, in international games like the Olympics, the host country can legally test any foreign athlete anywhere in the world. China then could have demanded for Phelps, all the members of the U.S. basketball team and the rest of the U.S. athletes, to undergo the Chinese Anti-Doping Agency test while they were training in the U.S...

The NADO from the Philippines would test Pacquiao while he is training in the Philippines and it would be handed over to USADA while he is training in the USA. It would make no logistical sense to have USADA testing Pacquiao in the Philippines. Whatever NADO organization in the Philippines or SE Asia that the WADA has accredited is the one that will test Pacquiao while he is training in a different country.

There are all types of different sporting events that happen all over the world. This would be nothing new.

Hey dan, what do you make of Arum's stance on USADA, and why has this never been brought up before. Manny makes a living in the U.S, fights for U.S. boxing commissions and has american judges at his fights. So why is USADA an issue?

I have no idea. Bob says a lot of goofy stuff. I'm not too worried about it at this point. Both Mayweather and Pacquiao have fall fights. When they are over, and if they both win, I will care.

When its Arum being made a fool of, it becomes "I have no idea" & "I will care" at another time. lol. These writers and sites have picked their side and are not budging.
