My thoughts with the family. Its never easy when you lose a close one, especially a father.

He raised two of the finest men and finest champions boxing has ever seen. May he rest in peace.

Huge credit to Wladimir for keeping focused in his build up to the fight with Haye.

Those involved in the cleanup of Chernobyl disaster are some of the truest heroes in the world. I had no idea the Klitschko's father helped.

65 is far too young, but he was able to live to see his children accomplish their dream of holding all the titles. Rest in Peace.

The man did a great job raising 2 humble human beings who always show respect and have great manners. The Klitschko brothers just come as off as genuinely nice people and that comes from a good upbringing thanks to their parents. My respects go out to this man for doing a great job at being a good father. My condolences go out to the Klitschko family for their loss. At least the man died knowing that his sons are good people and that they cleaned out and dominated the heavyweight division. Not one belt was left!
          Good post.

Yes, at least he went out with a sense of accomplishment. But still, it's always very sad going into the unknown. Condolences to the Klitschko family.

It's wonderful to see respect across the entire thread. Not one ignorant comment.

Rest well to their father. He will, as he has a lot to be proud of.

Makes a little hurt toe seem pretty incomparable to what had to be going through Wladimir's head leading up to the fight knowing that his father was probably in his last days.

Rest in peace Vladimir Rodionovich Klitschko...
