  • Anyone know much about the Reebok gloves Amir Khan wears?

It seems like it is quite soft and not snappy at all. Any ideas?

I was watching Khan VS Mccloskey, and yes Mcclowskey is awkward and didn't engage, Khan's shots lacked a sort of snap. I have notcied that in other fights such as Paulie too.

Khan should get some harder gloves really.

Khan himself has admitted he prefers Everlast, but wears Reebok because a contractual obligation he has with Reebok.

He should get them to make a special glove that actually has pop. A fighter like him does a lot fo damage with laods of small hits. Speed kills.

He should do what athletes do, get a pair of Everlast and put Reebok's logo on them.

Look at the difference in power when he wore everlast gloves against Maidana. He shouldn't wear those Reebok Gloves.

I agree that Khan has much more pop with gloves like Everlast. Heck Reyes gloves would be ideal with his speed. Punches hurt, even his jab would.

Having looked more at the Reebok gloves vs Mcclowskey, it looks fairly thick and the leather looks soft or puffy.

I completely agree with you, Khan needs to stop using those Reebok gloves but should be still able to keep his Reebok sponsorship. For example Manny Pacquaio is sponsored by Nike and still wears Cleto gloves.

Khan should be wearing Cletos, He horrific punching power but its not fully realized because he is forced to wear Reebok pillows. Reebok can make Khans shoes and clothing, GLoves should be Cletos or Everlast.
