He's big, he's fast, he's strong... And most of all, he's exciting.
As we all know, the welterweight division is the division (at least in the US) outside the Heavyweight division that gets all the attention. And Khan is right by that division and may end up there in about a year. And when he does, there's a lot of competition for him.
Victor Ortiz, the baby face power puncher of the division. Someone who is a stylistic opposite of Khan, with the power to KO him (glass chin or not)
Andre Berto, still a young lion, if a little overrated. Khan doesn't have Ortiz's power, so it would more likely be a battle of speed. Berto does, however, have the power to take Khan out.
Mike Jones, he's a solid boxer, with good strength, and most notably height. Probably the only fighter taller than Khan, which would make an interesting match up
And there r others, but the point simply being there's a lot of competition in these weights, and Khan has the ability to beat all of them. And lets not forget a possible move up to 154...
Due to being both from the UK and ******, his carry with it a lot of energy, which as we all know can make a dull fight seem a whole lot better.
And Stylistically, he's one of the most exciting fighters around, the closest thing to Ray Leonard since Prime De La Hoya.
So basically, the question is: Do u think Khan really has what it takes to carry the sport eg Leonard, Chavez, De La Hoya, and Pacquiao?
