Does it matter to you that it was a technical draw, where Gesta was cut by an accidental headbutt before four rounds were completed so they couldn't go to the scorecards?

Thank you, I don't know if that fight will happen between Gesta and Reyes, but I did text Parra after I got off the phone with Garcia and he said he said he'd be down for that fight.

I suggested Hank Lundy or Vicente Escobedo, which I think would make for good fights with Gesta.

Those would be good, I look forward to him fighting soon and hopefully staying busy.

          rios vs gesta

why cant they just make it happen? is rios scared? if gesta is a bum, then make gesta as one on your record.. but no i dont think so.. rios team knows what he can bring at the table.. a brawler rios vs. a smart patient and lethal NO MERCY will steal his record.

No because there's no real reason to think Gesta deserves anything close to a title fight. If he steps into the big leagues against Rios right now, his beating is going to be the closest thing to getting ******ed.

Go back to making ridiculous bets like Dapudong beating Marquez, I mean wtf? not even if I was filipino I would be so blind to bet on him against Marquez.

They won't make the fight happen because Gesta brings nothing to the champ. Rios would make more money fighting Antonio DeMarco than Gesta. Be real man Boxing is a job to them they have to make money, and Gesta brings none.

no need to mention it unless you have actually seen either fight. Do you know who Oscar Meza is?

                      doubt it

and for the record it's funny to me someone using him as some type of comparison tool when Rios has gone on to fight far better opposition than anything Gesta has seen.

I like Gesta and Parra but they know what they saw Saturday would be too much at this point.

they run a fast track on Gesta he is liable to burn out quickly they really should take their time let him develop and actually see different types of fighters first
