I'm not a Pro Boxer so I wouldn't compare myself to another.
But you would know that wouldn't you Mr. 3 posts that knows about my life somehow
You said it. You're not a pro boxer. And you obviously know nothing about boxing to say that Cleverly is "average". Bellew maybe, but Cleverly is clearly headed for world class.

Yep, I know nothing.
I am blinded by Cleverly's epic beatdowns of Karo Murat and Nadjib Mohammedi.
Nathan Cleverly has already showed flaws in his game at such a low level.

I'm sorry you don't agree with me.
I have to agree with abu hamzer on this. Cleverly has holes in his game, he better avoid Sillakh.

So what. He's a young fighter, still learning, and any "mistakes" he makes are usually just because he likes to get into a brawl sometimes. Carl Froch and Amir khan have flaws too, and i seem to remember plenty of naysayers and armchair critics running them down for different reasons but last time i checked Froch had the most impressive level of competition going, with only one defeat and is in the Super 6 final, and Khan is a beltholder at 140lbs and has gone a long way to proving himself (and the doubters wrong) to a certain extent.
Maybe Cleverly needs a change of trainer from his father in the future but he'll be fighting the best out there in a year or two, you'll see. He's only 24 after all and coming along nicely, imo.
Cleverly v Sillakh is the big future fight at 175. Sillakh has the skills advantage but Cleverly is a skilled, tough fighter too, and Ismail's chin has not been tested yet.

You conveniently forget to mention that Mohammedi was a last minute replacement, as was Cleverly's last opponent, Kuziemski after the coward Juergen Braehmer pulled out (again). He had been training for two different opponents going into those two fights.
Whatever you want to criticise about him to call him "average" is just uneducated bull****.
He'll prove his quality and you'll just go onto moaning about something else and finding the next fighter to have a whinge about.
