Whats the first fight you remember watching?

I remember (vaguely) watching Pernell Whitaker in the Olympics but the first fight I truly recall was Azumah Nelson versus Pat Cowdell.

Nigel Benn v Gerald McClellan

It was on my 8th birthday

I can still vividly remember Benn getting punched through the ropes and thinking McClellan had won

Great fight and tragic aftermath

Nigel Benn is still my favourite fighter ever to this day

The first full fight i remember seeing was David Tua vs. John Ruiz. The result left me a Tua fan for life.

All I remember is coming home after celebrating winning a big game and seeing my uncle, grandpa, and other family members watching an HBO card with De La Hoya and Toney headlining. I forgot who they fought.
