molina is a good fighter but will not fare well next time around against a better trained and determined Lara, he trains only one week for that fight and still he connected the best punches of the fight and by the end Molina was bloodie and got hurt in the 9th round, he has done a lot with what he got and kudos to a warrior that give 100% every time out, but Lara is a much better boxer and should win easy next time they fight.

I have a lot of respect for anyone who does the very best they can with what they've got. Carlos Molina is an overachiever, a fighter who has done a lot with fairly average ability. He's got guts and determination. My hat's off to him.

frankly he deserves a title already. He has wins over Lara(well, should have a win, and thats looking a hell of a lot better after Lara deserved to beat Paul) and Cintron. hes actually more accomplished than anyone else in the division.

they should step up and have a rematch wit lara vs molina and put it on the undercard of k-9 vs paul williams and have the winner of lara/molina fight the winner of that fight

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Lara-Molina II. Erislandy got a gift draw in that first fight, I thought. Carlos has since proven that his performance against Lara was no fluke. That being said, I do believe that Erislandy took Molina too lightly in their first meeting. That won't happen again. It'll be a good fight, but, ultimately, Molina is an overachiever whose guts and determination are well above his decent, underrated skills.
