And let's stop this supremely ******ed excusebthat Bradley didn't take the fight because of the date. Bradley already admittd in a radio interview he didn't fight khan because it was risky, and that he might lose out on the PAC sweepstakes.

Let's also remember Bradley pretended he was going to fight Khan for along time for which they knew the fight was going to be in July, and now all of a sudden that's the reason the fight didn't happen?

The guy is almost 30 and he's going to be stuck in litigation wasting his prime. And I doubt he will ever get PAC, he hasnt created any kind of fan base, and as time passes he is more likely to be sidelined.
You bring up the interview, did you listen to the whole thing(not being funny real question)??If ya did then you would have notice him say that the date was 1 among many reasons the fight did not happen..If ya gonna bring up that interview. Be honest about everything that was said..If ya did not listen to the wole interview then no harm but if ya did listen to the whole interview then you should know this already..

This sucks for bradley he is a proven fighter and if he has to sign with top rank or golden boy to enhance his career then so be it.top rank will probably sign him, i wonder if he had taken the khan fight and beat khan, i'm pretty sure golden boy would have had a deal ready for him if he were to beat khan.

Being European champion doesn't mean squat for the most part. Even Matthew Hatton is a European champ for ****'s sake.

Yes, he brought it up as an excuse, obviously.

But he also admitted he didnt fight khan because it's risky, and he might lose the PAC sweep stakes.

Also, he didn't make a big deal out of the date, because it was never a big deal. No fighter would ever say no to a fight over a matter of a few weeks. The fight was always planned for the summer, and July is in the middle of it.

And who cares how good McCloskey is? That fight had zero impact on khan meeting Bradley in the summer. Bradley could've snuck a fight in as well, but the guy isn't popular enough to do this, and somehow it's everyone elses fault?

Whatever excuse you want to believe you can, whatever reason, but at the end of the day BRADLEY DUCKED KHAN. This is the indisputable truth.

Spit its already been disputed when everyone does not agree with it..If Bradley did not have a ton of issues I would agree with you but with everything that has come out I just can't agree with it..I really think it was a smart move on Bradleys part(just my opinion)to have everything in order before a fight like this..Boxing is 80% mental tbh and if Bradley was not 100% focus it was smart not to take this fight..

But what I do think is Bradley was game to fight Khan and did not look at the business aspect of it and put his foot in his mouth(which he himself admitted..

Bradley ducking khan aside.... I actually thought this was a good down to earth interview. And at least timmy has the respect to not trash shaw the way shaw has been trashing him.

If bradley could've fought khan and still get out of his contract with shaw, I think he should've went for it, especially since khan gave up 50% of the UK ppv sales.

Its the middle of July and Bradley has no fights lined up. Theres a chance he could get one for the end of the year but the man is talking about litigation.

He has until September to get through this litigation and get a fight booked and I hope he gets that Khan fight....but the more this drags on the more depressing and ****** the situation seems.

I kinda think he has made the right decision in the long ball game, but I wanted to see this fight so much.
