Ok.. we know they're sharing all 4 of the major belts.. we know Wlad has 75% of the shares... but let's get real.. who's the REAL champion here & who's the paper belt holder. Vitali Klitschko is the more dominant brother & has been pretty much champion for more than 7 years.. He's 10 - 0 with 8 knockouts since his loss to Lewis.
. He's lost no more than 3 rds in those 10 bouts. Wlad just lost 2 or 3 rds to Haye just to put things in perspective & has lost many more in fights he was being cautious like Peter I.. Brock & Thompson.
Vitali & Wlad both have a come forward style but ONLY one of them lets there hands go after throwing there jabs & that is Vitali. He just keeps coming & throws punches from every conceivable angle while mixing up the power on them. His opponents don't know what's coming next & are never let to relax.
With Wlad.. it's the jab & after you counter it's the grab.. JAB. RIGHT hand follow up only comes when he no longer thinks you're capable of hurting him. Vitali does NOT let his opponent dictate what punches he's going to throw.. he just throws them & doesn't think about it. He dares you to stop him from throwin g punches..plus the fact he senses when his opponent is going to throw a punch.
His reflexes on defense are 10 times better than Wlad's..... do you EVER see Vitali holding for defensive strategy like Wlad does??? He keeps you at bay with his punches. AGAINST 3 of the best power punchers in Briggs.. Peter & Areolla.. he rarely tied up his opponent...This is the big difference between the 2 of them. Vitali punches his way out of jams while Wlad ties you up instead of throwing leather. Wlad doesn't trust his chin. Vitali does & you can see it in the way they fight.
