And if the " lawsuit " is genuine, and not just a gag-order like many suspect, then Petrocelli will have to prove that Mayweather's comments prevented Pacquiao's marketing opportunities and potential sponsor's from being "proud" of Manny..... and that the reason why potential opportunities may have been lost is NOT because Manny was too "proud" to prove that he is a clean athlete.

I can't help but laugh at the hypocrisy of some of the people on this site. The people who were up in arms about how nobody had the right to accuse pac of taking peds without any proof, innocent until proven guilty and all that. And now those same people are accusing and entire organisation of being corrupt. What proof do they have? The gospel truth according to uncle bob, AKA "HONEST" bob arum.

What makes me laugh is that if Floyd Mayweather wanted a different organisation to deal with the testing and Bob Arum said "we want to use USADA because the agency that Floyd wants is corrupt, we want USADA because they are the gold standard in testing" all you guys would now being going on about how great USADA is.

Bob Arum is not concerned about "integrity" one little bit, otherwise he would have researched WADA to verify that they were a credible alternative to USADA.

Arum did not research WADA at all, otherwise he would have immediately realised that they were a regulatory authority and not a testing body. The fact that Bob Arum does not realise that WADA entrust those responsibilities to USADA is absurd.

Excellent point and a well written post. The fact is that one person is willing to be transparent while the other is trying to negotiate to what degree and to whom he is willing to be transparent with ... which negates the purpose of the transparency at that point. Its Pacquiao seeking to be "semi-transparent"?

May I ask and can someone answer why Arum is only now proposing this solution? Floyd has always been adamant about UDADA being the agency who would administer the tests. Why after 3 years, is Bob Arum only now expressing a problem with USADA? Could it be because Manny shot himself in the foot by agreeing to ALL tests that Mayweather has demanded?

******* peasants have been posting Manny saying "Yes" to several different questions and claiming that this was evidence that Manny Pacquiao himself, not Bob Arum, has agreed to ANYTHING that Floyd Mayweather wanted concerning tests.

Now that its time to move forward and sign a legally binding contract, Arum has expressed reservations and has opted to stall the finalization of the already agreed terms of the negotiations by accusing a 3rd party organization of being "bias" because they have tested Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley and now Victor Ortiz.

This is both disgraceful and shameful on the part of Bob Arum. We all know that Arum wants to protect his goose who lays Top Rank's golden eggs, but why claim to take the high road and allow Manny to agree to take the high road when he knew it would only complicate matters when it was time to pay the piper?

Its now time to sign the contract and take the tests, and who brings more controversy to the table and ultimately postpones what the fans have been asking for? None other than Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao. How much do these two clowns have to do before people see the writing on the wall?

Floyd has always stated that he was ready to sign as soon as Manny Pacquiao was ready to agree to random USADA blood and urine tests up until the day of the fight. Manny Pacquiao stated that he was ready to do so. Manny lied. Manny is NOT ready. Manny is NOT willing. Manny is deceiving fans, both boxing and *******ed fans, into believing that he is willing to do whatever it takes to be seen as the best.

Arum isn't fooling anyone by yelling "fire" and pulling the alarm in the metaphorical room where the negotiations are taking place. Of course he knows that he has a fringe group of drooling idiots that will support ANYTHING that he does in the name of Manny Pacquiao, but Arum and Pacquiao for the most parts, HAVE SHOWN THEIR TRUE COLORS WITH THIS LATEST MOVE.

There are no more countdown clocks.

There is no more talk of fear of needles or blood loss.

There is no more talk of cut-off dates.

There is no more talk of rumors suggesting Mayweather asking for more money.

All the circus antics have been used up over the past 3 years. Arum is out of tricks and excuses. This latest fiasco where he became desperate enough to accuse the United States Anti-Doping Agency is in fact slander.

Unless this is all part of some elaborate WWE-styled dramatic plot, Arum has just left himself opened for a defamation suit. He's already left Pacquiao looking like some flip flopping idiot.

This is a non issue. Pac shouldn't have to do any testing that isn't required by a state athletic commission.

Why should he when Floyd didn't take a single drug test in over a year?

How would it look if Pac took over a year off from the sport, during which he did not take a single drug test and then agreed to fight Floyd in 3 months with random tests?

Its su****ious as hell and Floyd didn't even show up to court. If anyone is doping its floyd not Pac.
