Why the delay in PBF-Ortiz testing?

There were 54 days between when the contract was signed with PBF and SSM, and when testing began. Why is there the delay? Isn't this the exact time when you could be stacking HGH and Roids to gain muscle? Why is Floyd more concerned about testing 5 days before the fight but not right now? How is taking HGH 5 days out going to help you? If they are going to seriously do the testing why don't they start right when the contract is signed?

I don't understand the question? What do you mean what's the delay? It's RANDOM...

If they start right once the fight is signed every time wouldn't that take away from it being random?

The whole point of the test...Is that they could have came yesterday, can come today or tomorrow...Or next week....Point is that you do not know when they're coming therefore you have to be on your toes and not risk taking anything...

There were 54 days between when the contract was signed for the SSM fight and when the "random" testing began. They knew for 54 days there weren't going to be any tests.

So they started the testing right when they signed the contract this time?
