    Brandon Rios is severely overrated....

he sucks. any fighter who actually knows how to box easily beats this guy. the only thing rios does is that he pressures you.
he has no defense, no footwork, no head movement, no speed and also takes a lot of punches to the face etc...

as a rican and being predisposed to disliking the messicans, i don't see how this kid is overrated in the least. also, he does have pretty good defense ... his offense is his defense. i see hm wearing down soto and if he fought the ghost, man, that would just be ridiculous.

TS is a fool. His footwork is very good, his inside fighting and accuracy is great and his chin and pressure are tough to deal with.

Rios may not be a slick boxer but thank God boxing isn't just full of slick boxer or it would be boring.

Rios is far from underrated, he's a tough style for most at 135.

Anybody that actually "does boxing" or has at least sparred in the gym will know Rios isn't over rated. I don't see where he is except for the fact he will get better with experience. Work on more combinations. He still has growing to do, he hasn't peaked yet. He keeps his hands up, his foot work is good, he got a good stance, and the ingredient not every fighter has is "heart". He could of easily been discourage in the Acosta fight because he was way behind on the cards but he came back to TKO Acosta. Just 2 nights ago he TKO'd Antillion.

His style isn't a slick boxer like Mayweather. Not everybody is a boxer in boxing. I don't see where he's over rated. He knocked down Acosta with his "jab". I wouldn't consider him elite right now but he's going in that direction. Look at his stats and record for being 25 years old. If he works hard and continues to do what he does, I can't wait to see where he is in 3/4 years.

He's a pressure fighter, he's doing what he's good at. It doesn't necessarily mean he sucks.
