Comments Thread For: Wladimir on Haye's Retirement, a Rematch, Fury-Chisora

WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko advised BBC Sport that he doubts David Haye is actually pursuing a rematch. Wladimir dominated Haye on points in Germany on July 2. After his defeat by Wladimir, Haye spoke of his desire to avenge that result, but Wladimir has questioned his beaten opponent's motivation.

Way i see it is that Wladimir outdid Haye. He doesnt deserve a rematch because the result would be the same.

With Wladimir, it was a walkover for the real world champion. With Vitali, it would be a homicide. Vitali is the toughest bastard ive seen in years. He's just a primal fighting force.

fury and chisora should be nowhere near a title shot as it stands. wlad should just go on a vacation for one cycle and let the underdogs fight it out among themselves. then go at the guy who looks the most promising. but since he is a unified champ he's gonna be forced to fight all those chumps .

imo Chisora will get a title fight only because of what Wlad did to him. I doubt Fury would get a shot straight away if he wins.

**** on Wladimir. Haye was exposed for the fraud that he was. Think he'd be more suited to Walford than Hollywood though! Ha If he wants to fight for a title, then get in the ring with Vitali - no chance of that. Hasta la huego Haye..

Elegantly put by Wladimir, pure ownage.

In other words, Haye doesn't want a rematch to avenge his loss or because he believes he can avenge his loss. He wants a rematch to get another payday.

If he is serious about his legacy and avenging himself, he will make concessions and take far, far less money than he did last time. Like Zab Judah did for the Cory Spinks rematch. He almost fought that fight for free, but he wanted to get the Welterweight Title and he trained his ass off, and knocked that pillow puncher out.

Lets see that kind of commitment from Haye, and he should get his rematch.
