That's fine, as long as he keeps on winning against top fighters it will be hard to keep him out. Intangibles and will can overcome skills. And, TBH he's a solid skilled fighter.

I think he meant that even though Rios won by knockout he wasn't exactly dominating the fight. Acosta had his moments about 5 rounds at least when Rios pressed on the gas at Round 6 to win by knockout at Round 10.

It wasn't like Sergio Martinez's win over Paul Williams a 2nd Round knockout that took everyone's breath away that they made him #3 P4P fighter. If Rios let us say knocks out Vazquez in Round 5 then he is worthy of being #4 P4P fighter.

Yea but he won by KO...There was no controversy, no conspiracy, Rios proved he was the better fighter. He set his will and worn down his opponent who is pretty damn skilled mind you. But, Rios showed he was the better fighter overall...

Well to be fair Martinez was already on most P4P list prior to that fight and so was P-Will...Neither Rios nor Vazquez are seen as such...If Rios beats Vazquez in an Acosta like fashion...Then he's borderline P4P top 10 fighter.

i dont think he dominated acosta. he was clearly the bigger more powerful man and that works for him at 135. but acosta handled him very well aside from the knockdowns in a fight in which i didnt think he stood a chance. rios took a **** load of punches. mebbe its his style, but for me, i wasnt wowed by his performance against a fighter i came in thinking he was clearly better than.

my thing with rios is he relies heavily on his power and size in a weight class where hes clearly bigger than just about everyone. what happens when he hits 140? he wont be able to bully guys like maidana/bradley or khan like he does the 135 div. fighters. if he goes up there when those guys are still there, i think he gets lost in the shuffle.

i would love to see him fight the ghost tho. thatd be my dream fight at 135, the only guy there that i think beats rios.

If Guerrero beats Maidana then he deserves to be int he P4P rankings. Then they should fight for big dough$$$$
