I find it funny that Klit fans think the cut came out of the blue, Lewis was landing some hellacious shots too and the TKO was deserved. Props to Vitali though he was definitely winning but it wasn't a one-sided beat down people make it out to be not to mention it was an old fat Lewis which I guess equals a prime Vitali taking the fight on 10 days notice.

vitali was winning the fight at the time of the stoppage. if you had lewis winning then you either love lewis, hate the klitschkos, or just don't know how to score a boxing match. i also would say that scoring round 2 as a 10-8 wouldn't be out of the question.

the fight was controversial because lewis didn't truly STOP vitali, he just got in a good shot that happened to open a very bad cut. if the cut didn't happen, who knows? lewis was a bit more tired at the end of the fight, and if hes such a professional - he should have never shown up "out of shape".

if lewis truly was better, then he should have taken the 8-figure payday and made the rematch that same year. he was getting up there, but he had plenty left in the tank to make one last fight. it was too controversial to not have a rematch. vitali was clearly winning, but got stopped on a cut. it would have been different if lewis KO'd him. lewis got the W but business was far from settled.

lewis had a great career, but i'll never consider that victory as legitimate as say - his knockout of michael grant. vitali fought better in that fight than lewis did, vitali just got cut. no one likes to see someone whipping the other fighters ass and then they get stopped on a cut. it was an inconclusive fight for either side. but lewis NEVER had vitali anywhere near as hurt as vitali had him in round 2. lewis wasn't too far from his ass being knocked out.

Vitali won that fight..at least four to two rounds he had Lewis. what would of happen we will never know. i thought by official rules, after 4th round..if doctor stop the fight - they should go to the scorecards. ..anyways, no idea what fight u watched that lewis won.

People are fucking blind if you ask me.

None of this matters anyways. Lewis was 38 and in the worst shape of his career, and still stopped him. Shows how good the Klits are.
Try again son... can you explain why Vitali landed 60% of all the shots that connected in the fight? Can you explain why Vitali threw & landed more punches than Lewis in EACH & EVERY rd which includes rd 6.. the rd people say Lewis was owning him. Vitali was in control of that rd for the first half of it & was backing Lewis up..

he caught Vitali on the side of the head while they were in a clinch right on the ropes with 10 seconds to go. Vitali didn't see it coming & didn't even brace for that cheap shot but yet overpowered Lennox & held him from throwing any follow ups.

Lennox was swinging wildly right at the end & Vitali took EVERY punch. ALL compubox statistics favored Vitali including jabs & power punches thrown & landed. Vitali winning 4 rds to 2 means he was basically winning 2/3 of the fight.... i suggest you watch the fight again with all the factual numbers i just provided you with & come back & apologize for your indescretion>>> kapish!

if the cut was caused by a headbutt, that is what would have happened. however - it was caused by a punch.

Haha lewis won the fight just like Paul Williams beat Lara.

It is completely clear and there is indisputable video evidence the cut that ended the fight was caused by an illegal hit by Lewis. You cannot grab your opponent behind the head and punch him. Clear and basic DQ. Anyone whose been a fan of boxing 4+ years would know this anyone who hasnt been a fan of boxing for over 4 years...go to ****ing bed and stay off the internets dude.
