    Respect for williams !

    ......................
ok so he did not look so great last night
in fact he looked awful but he was coming off a year layoff and a BRUTAL K.O. loss ....
no way am i saying he deserved that decision last night i had lara up by atleast 4 rds

but there is no need to bash the man ..call him a bum and all these things when in fact he is a warrior and a true champion of out great sport
he didnt make excuses after the quintana loss or the martinez loss ! and if he got the L last night he wouldnt have either ..this site is full of pathetic posters who call themselves "boxing fans" ..seriously?? the man gave it everything he has to entertain you .the fact is his career might be over and i wanna pay this great champion some respect, I myself was fortunate enough to have been live at Williams Martinez 1&2 both insane fights especially the first match and im thankful for that give the man some credit for once i dont get this sport where fighters who are down to fight anyone anytime i.e WILLIAMS ,HATTON,COTTO,MARGARITO who bring heart and excitment 2 the ring are the ones the fans hate on the most then love fighters like mayweather and pacquiao who totally jerk us in to buying bull **** ppv where we know theyre not being challanged in
so im taing this time to salute and thank A TRUE CHAMPION ! PAUL THE PUNISHER WILLAIMS !

    ****ing Agreed!!!!!

    War Paul Williams!!!!

A throwback ass kicking warrior!!! If he wants to retire then go for it if not I still support him. The kid is all balls. Hes actively pursuing Martinez and Sergio doesnt bring a dime to the table, he just wants the challenge. In the day of bytch made boxing Divas how can people hate on Paul?

Williams has always been and always will be considered a great fighter especially in this day and age, he never *****ed about anything or anyone he just went in the ring and did what he was good at doing and there to do. Its unfortunate the circumstances of last night but wanna be boxing experts (1/2 or more of this site) are going to call him a bum anyway just because he lost. All of a sudden they are going to be kissing the as* of Lara until he loses and then they will move on to the next fighter. Most of the people here are fair weather fans havent you found that out by now especially since the Haye/Klit fight. They were all for Haye and now look at them. I got respect for Williams but he is getting past his prime years and maybe should consider stopping in the near future not necissarily right now.

What does any of this have to do with the fact that Lara was robbed last night in one of the most horrible decisions I have ever seen.

Williams has a lot of heart and that's what boxing really needs some more of. Lara really won the fight but I'm happy for Williams all the same for fighting his heart out
