He keeps trying to fight fighters at 154(this is where Martinez fought the majority of his career). I do not see a problem for him to fight at 154. Why are people making a big deal about weight? It's funny people say he is too big for 154, yet even after Williams beats up Pavlik at 160. Hbo and I still consider him a small 160.

So, what I don't get is. If people are saying he is a small 160 but too big at 154. Than where the fudge is he suppose to fight at a catch weight between the two like 158-156?

Any of the champs except Dzinziruk. Wolak or Vanes could be fun too.

I would love to just say, i'd bet all of my points on Williams beating Pacquiao. With all of you who boldly say Pacquiao would beat Paul Williams. You don't know what you're talking about.

Problem why this bet will never happen, Williams is too tall. Williams is too good, he's not damaged enough to fight Pacquiao. So sorry Iron, but Pacquiao will never "beat the piss" out of Williams. And sorry Natas but not everyone at 147 can KO Williams, definitely not Pacquiao. I don't think any one at 147 currently can KO Williams. That is just a crazy statement.

You've been fooled. What Pacquiao opponent resembles Williams' style, height/reach advantage in any kind of way? and throws 80-100 punches per round? NONE.

Fact is no body at 147 has the power of Sergio Martinez, or even Lara, or Cintron...NOBODY. You're thinking about how Williams would get stopped at 147 from the way he looked when he took punches from 154-160 pounders? Come on

Pac kos him he just gets hit too much and Pac hits much harder than Quintana at 147 who was rocking a Williams who had a lot less wear and tear on him. Williams just doesnt have the defense and skill to deal with a fighter like Pac and his aggresiveness and workrate would work against him.

It would be an easy fight for Williams.

The chin has 'deteriorated' but I saw Williams last night take every single shot while still standing from a guy who was 14-0 with 10 KO's. Williams chin is being underrated just because of a one punch knock out. Like if he's Amir Khan who has been knocked 3 times by a pack of bums, and knocked once by Presscot, and then knocked out. This is a guy who has been knocked down once, and knocked out once, in 41-42 fights. If you see the Mitchell, Margarito, Quintana, Walter, and first Martinez fights, Williams reacts the same way that he did to those punches, as he did last night. He's the same Paul as always, poor defense, strong chin, knocked out once.
wow. I know you have a huge man crush on Floyd so you will always try to discredit Pacquiao because he is the "rival" of the guy you are in love with, but seriously this is ridiculous. Easy fight for Williams Williams is done for and would get destroyed by Pacquiao and any top competition he fights now on.

I hope he gets a title shot, otherwise he'll probably get ducked from now on.

If that fight happened Pac v Williams i'd prob be at 147 and to think he would be strong at that weight is not assured

Not sure why you're making such a big deal over this Williams is absolute garbage man if it wasn't proven to you after last night I don't know what else to tell you, the guy is going to be in a coma if he doesn't retire shortly he can't block a left hand if his life depended on it (which ironically it actually does).

The fight wont happen anyway not because "he's not damaged enough to fight pacquiao" but BECAUSE he is that damaged and it would be a pointless match.

At 147 Williams could do ok there for a little while only because the division is so crappy right now. I wouldn't even favor him over Berto at this point, he is damaged badly physically and mentally. Mark my words he will get KO'd in his next 1-2 fights.
