    Lara ain't all that either.

I wan't all that impressed with Lara last night either. Honestly he should have KO'd PW last night. Paul was open to the left overhand all night and allowed his face to be battered multiple times. To me that shows that Lara has no power further more besides that single punch Lara ran and clinched for much of the fight. PW clearly got his behind whipped but a PW that keeps his glove up or just learns to fight upright easily beats Lara. Lara will get destroyed if they put him in with Martinez at this point.

yeah I'm with you on this. He just went for the easy overhand left, not many combinations or sustained flurries. I grade his performance last night a B, and Carlos Molina would beat him in a rematch I think

I think people are overrating the heck out of Lara as well. Like i just said if that left hand doesnt land as muchs it d or if Paul adjusted Lara wouldve lost all 12 rounds easily. It was that simple but they didnt adjust.

Lara is almost as bad as Pacquioa on the inside. Just brutal. Peterson shouldve just told him lead with the jab, get close enough and pound him.

Paul size advantage saved him in that fight. He looked like he was two weight classes bigger than Lara.

Peterson is a Jackazz and needs to be fired. PW would be better off going with Manny Steward. That way he can learn some defense and spar with Chad Dawson.

I don't think Willaims has ever been that hard to hit and his porous defense has been exposed. Lara could've followed with combinations and got him out and taken the judges out of the equation. Instead he was content with the single overhand lefts at a time. Not saying he didn't win. He won 117-111 on my card. But he could've done more with this version of Paul Williams in front of him.

People forget how good of a chin Williams has/had, yes Martinez killed him but that's Martinez arguably the best guy lacing a pair of gloves today, and it took him 15 rounds to do it.

Lara's lack of an inside game is painful.

I wouldnt mind seeing Lara vs Angulo.

True but it is Peterson's fault up until the KO by Martinez, PW was giving Martinez all he could handle. He just keeps leaning over exposing his chin and leaving his arms too low. Plus his legs are slow he moves like a black Margaritto in the ring. Those things add up into a KO prone boxer. Every fighter from here on out is going to be gunning for that overhand left he better make some adjustments.

                    Lara was there to lose

He was a nice underdog and only got the fight because he was green and got a gift draw in his last fight
