OK, upon second viewing and with HBO commentary on mute I admit that the fight was closer than I had originally had scored it, I had it 115-113 for Lara, I could see it being 114-114 or 116-112 Lara, but still I would be really hard pressed to score it for Williams and I still consider it a robbery. To the OP, how on earth did you score the 7th round for Williams??

Are you for real? Did you see Paul's face by the 11th round? Paul has this weird habit of catching a hayemaker with his face.

because that old ass guy tells him to lean into punches. Paul can't duck under punches, he needs to fade away. His trainer won't tell him to do that though. For whatever reason.


Paul's face wasn't terribly damaged either. Damage in this fight was pretty irrelevant because after the first 3 rounds. Nothing really happened besides 1 good shot in the 6th and 10th.

If I go into a fight. Land 300/300 in the first three rounds. Then the next 9 I hardly throw anything, miss a few here and there. My punch stats would look incredible too.

Paul isn't finished. He just needs to fight tall. Fade away from punches rather than duck and lean into them.

That is his real problem. He needs to go talk to Hearns and learn how a tall man fades back from punches and drops in their own power shots.
