Could Manny Steward save Paul Williams Career?

If he got off to the Kronc Gym could Manny turn him into Hearns v2.0?

no, Williams is too dumb, every punch he took you can see him losing brain cells. Him and his trainer feel theres nothing wrong with taking the punches and leaving yourself WIDE open to the same punch you got KTFO with.

The only reason he gets away with it is because he has a HUGE Height/Weight/Reach advantage over EVERY opponent, Its like Wlad/Vitali cutting to CW or LHW to pick on midgets.

I believe he could Paul has the tools but he needs a real trainer to teach him how to fight like a big man. Just being busy is not enough you have to fight smart.

if he could improve his defence and maybe teach him to fight tall then i think it would be good for him

I believe that 100 percent.. I dont think he will be Hearns 2.0 tho.. But the change in Dawson that you see from Stewart, you could definitely see in Williams. He get's alot of hate, but I really dont think its too late to change.

I think so. He posesess great physical talent and if he where guided by Steward and listened he would improve into a real monster. But sadly I don't think there's any chance of that happening due to the close personal relationship he has with George Peterson.

Whatever Steward, Goosen or whatever trainer would instill in Paul at this point would only work if he was dedicated to continuing his career- and even before this fight he was talking about retiring. His passion isn't going to carry him through the difficulties of learning better defensive techniques, etc. at this stage in his career.

Not only that, but the first tought fight the Punished has, he'll revert back to what has been ingrained in him for his entire career.

Paul 'the Punished' Williams is going to be a classic example of a tall guy with some decent tools, who was never taken to that next level with a good trainer and paid the price for it. Poor guy.

I don't think he will ever the same after that knock out.
