I felt sick at the decision last night, absolutely disgusted. I feel sorry for Lara, who spent 7-10 weeks in training camp sacrificing everything, then implemented a perfect gameplan, to only get robbed by some fat useless judges. I had it 10-2 for Lara who just couldn't miss with an over hand left, straight left or anything with a left. Williams has a terrible defense and if he wants to fight martinez he will get brutally knocked out again.
I like williams as well he has a crowd pleasing style, but he doesn't use his PHYSICAL advantages. He needs to fight as a tall boxer like amir khan does using his 82 inch reach advantage and his 6'3 height advantage. He simply needs a new trainer, because his own trainer couldn't even answer how to defend against the left hand lara was throwing.
In conclusion, Lara should get an opportunity against another elite 154 pounder or a rematch with williams. As for williams he needs to find a new trainer who will teach williams to fight on the outside using his feet and basic defensive skills. Otherwise he should retire, as he is a knockout waiting to happen.......
