How can Povetkin and Chagev be fighting for the WBA title?. I thought Wlad and Vitali have all the belts . They are fighting for the WBA title but Wlad won that from Haye.

Because it's the WBA. They just make up titles for the fun of it.

Wlad will have some super WBA title and povetkin-chagev will fight for a regularWBA title belt
      For whatever that's worth
Just think of it as a good fight for both and dismis the belt nonsense

Belt doesn't do nothing but collect dust.

like the wbc interim and silver belts its just a way to charge more sanctioning fees at the expense of the sport.

So that means we are going to have 3 heavyweight champions and 2 champions holding the same belt. What the ****.

why are you surprised this has been the case for years . the wba went as far as making super champions even if they are not unified ( exemple : andre ward and felix sturm )

let just wish they don't sanction a fight for an interim title
