Shaw Resigns as Wright's Promoter

It was reported in the SPTimes by John Cotey, that promoter Gary Shaw has resigned as Winky Wright's promoter and now the December 10th HBO date against Sam Soliman is in jeopardy. [details]

Any further confirmation on this?

I find this totally unbelievable. Shaw cannot resign just like that. There is an existing contract between him and Winky and if there's any form of violation in the provisions of that contract and Shaw wanted out he should have gone to the court to have that contract nullified.
