This is a situation where the judges (who are selected, hired and paid) by the promotional teams of each fighter (I think?). I think that the judges are ALWAYS going to be indirectly(at least) partial to the promotor who will give them the most work. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there were "middlemen" hired by promotional companies who do things off the record for certain judges. You link enough people, it becomes very hard to show and prove.

actually i shouldn't say all judges, but it does exist im sure. Promotor clout, and the "hometown crowd" are always two issues that might indirectly sway judges in their scoring.
