First I want to say I thought Roy Max and Bob did an amazing job last night..Esp Roy,I watch that fight with people who are casual fans of the sport and I believe everyone at my place was very scared and concern for Paul myself included..I thought they did a great job of making it clear they did not condone the beating he was taking...They also made it a point to keep saying that Paul should hang um up,and they also exposed that wack azz trainer who just was all so ******..Paul corner was the worst yesterday, they did not give any instruction on how not to get hit with those solid punches and they let him take maybe a life shorten beating for no reason..I tip my hat to the HBO team great job fellas..

Now on to this very clear and bad decision, this is what's wrong with boxing..First you have Devon vs Kottie which imo was a robbery, then you have Devon vs Matt's which I did not feel was a robbery but it diff felt like a hometown decision..Now this, like I said I had a lot of casual fans of the sport and everyone in my house was sad about the beating Paul took...Then was sad how Lara(poor bastard)was robbed when he clearly won the fight..This is why boxing is losing so many fans, and tbh it's something that needs to stop..Boxing needs a real comm or somebody who is gonna step in here..What happen yesterday on all sides of the ball was tragic and disappointing...

This is like Martinez-Williams all over again. A rematch is absolutely needed. This is a travesty in the sport of boxing.
for lara's sake and reputation, most people will only see & refer to that "L" on his record.... he NEEDS & deserves a rematch.

the blatant disregard for a CRUCIAL flaw in p-will's game is sickening... poor p-will puts ALL of his trust on coach/mentor/father figure.... his corner FAILED him... the concept of, "we are not fixing anything, we will continue to do what we do", is just IGNORANT... p-will was so sluggish in there too. id hate to see what an angulo would do to p-will at this stage... luckily lara didnt have the heavy hands to REALLY damage p-will.

It's a real pity and disaster for him.
            great post. my thoughts exactly.
top guys will use the excuse of:
            • you had a draw with molina
            • you lost to p-will

                Stop the crying already.

Bad decisions don't hurt a fighters career, they help it ecause eberyone feels bad for them afterwards, and hbo almost always brings those guys back.

Matthyse and Lara will both be back on hbo.

Ps if p.wills management puts him in with another tough lefty they should be shot.

Quintana, Martinez, Lara. Only tough fights of his career are all lefties.

They don't get paid as much as they would have if they would have if they had gotten the W on their resume.

Williams dominated Wright, I only gave Wright the 1rst round. But than again I believe Wright was out of the sport of boxing for like 2-3 yrs and that was his comeback fight!

We should never stop "crying" after robberies because they severely damage the sport.
