    Roy Jones Ironic Commentary

I'm listening to Roy commentate the Paul Williams fight.

I'm listening to some of the things Roy is saying and I'm thinking to myself (I'm sure Kellerman wanted to say the same), "Roy you should've taken your own advice 7 years ago".

I love Roy to death, but I hope he takes his own advice and retires.

Exactly, I was thinking the same thing. His first KO happened in 2002, but he still fighting and getting KO.

I truly think that this fight kinda made him look at his own career from a new and fresh perspective. The boy was squeamish tonight. I doubt he'd fight now

It was actually uncomfortable listening to Roy, knowing that he's been in there, fearing for PWilly's life. If Roy wasn't working tonight, he would have turned off the TV after the 6th.

The problem is that fans keep paying to see him, so I doubt he stops fighting.

Roy Jones is my #1 favorite fighter of all time, but even I was going to make a thread saying this exact same thing. RJJ should take his own advice.

Yes he should have retired but the comments are not so ironic because all of his k.o's came from 1 shot punches.

Pwill was getting batter for 5+ rounds, that is where the REAL brain damage comes. Remember, Ali was NEVER k.o'd, but he got terrible brain damage because of all the blows he took in the ring.

Being 1 shot K.o'd isnt that bad for you. The brain shuts down so it can sustain less damage. Being punched on the head over and over and over while still being awake is much worse.
