That fight makes my mouth water, my God that would be a war. Plus it gives Rios a chance to one up Ortiz if he were to beat Maidana.

he didn't necessarily call out Marco more so than back up what Bob has been telling him that a Barrera fight would be next for him. Brandon actually went up to Barrera (who was doing the Spanish broadcast) and asked him if he really wanted to fight him. Barrera said yes.

Rios may have scared away opponents after this fight.

after the 2nd knockdown I was yelling at Urbano's brother German to stop the fight he just stood there dumbfounded

everyone who has known Urbano for years knows he is a game warrior but that the sport took a toll on him

I hope he rethinks his thought to fight on to be honest

He called out Barrera because that's what Arum wants. And the ONLY reason Arum wants that fight is because of the $$$, because Barrera still has a loyal following. So sick of Arum choosing his pockets over better fights. There are so many good fights that can be made with Rios in the 140lb division, I hope he moves up straight away.

And LOL @ Bob Arum adding to Pacquiaos list of future opponents. Although I think a Pac/Rios fight would be awesome, Bob is looking for that guy to take Pacquiaos place when he leaves (he will need a new cash cow). He all but said so last night. Atleast he can cross Cintron off the list now - well, atleast let's hope so.

BTW, I would love to see Rios fight Maidana - I think Rios (the one that fought last night) could take Maidana out... but it would be a helluva fight! And I'll say it again, the one I would love to see the most, somewhere down the line, is Rios vs Ortiz. I've said this for a while, but it's because of the bad blood between them that would make it so excitiing. Just like last night but with even more of a history. Rios is one of those guys that needs and likes that kind of motivation that makes it personal. It seems to give him more energy and it makes him more feroucious. I think that fight would be huge with a 50/50 chance for both guys. They could call the event "It's personal."
