I'm cool with Rico we speak from time to time but I will admit that I was a bit worried throughout most of the fight and will say he needs to step it up big time now that he's a world champion and the elite boxers won't be so easy to beat...

Good win for Ramos but he was getting outboxed and I think against someone like Rigondeaux who is more technical he would lose. I also think at this point Arce would break his will and take that belt. His best bet is to defend his title against a top 10 contender unify with the other jap and if he wins fight Arce or Rigondeaux for a good pay in 2012. I would like to see him Vs Chris Avalos I think he would outbox him and make a good defense against a game opponent.

We still have one champ, I dont consider a fighter puerto rican if he doesnt rep his colors. Has he ever even visited the island?

If they want Ramos to keep his WBA title, they need to keep him away from Poonsawat and Teon Kennedy.

He's not getting a late round come from behind stoppage against those guys.

It was a good win for the kid though. He should be proud that he did it.

I just think it's going to be difficult for him to keep his title if he fights those guys.

Shimoda-san will be back and don't fret, there will be a rematch or a unification with nishioka.

You must of missed one his last articles on this site then because he mentioned how he wanted to fight in New York at MSG because of all the tradition Puerto Rico has in that building...
