*The fact remains—Bute has fought everyone put in front of him
He also got seriously hurt by Andrade in their 1rst fight, which makes me think he is vulnerable. I don't cry robbery because I feel he beat the count, got up around the 7-8 second mark even tho the ref counted slowly.

Exactly. Either he wanted an easy title instead, or he just didn't want the fight.

Hopkins can easily fight on Showtime, like the first Pascal fight.

            Pascal: ‘Bute needs more balls’
            Posted on Jul 9, 2011

Former light-heavyweight world champion Jean Pascal has hit out at IBF super-middleweight titleholder Lucian Bute for ducking him.

Pascal revealed that Bute has turned down an offer to fight him four times saying the undefeated fighter continually faced opponents that are ‘below his level’.

And with the Canadian-based Romanian defending his title today against 37-year-old veteran Jean Paul Mendy in a fight that will be aired for free on Primetime, Pascal called for Bute to ‘get more balls’.

‘After my fight against Bernard Hopkins we offered Lucian Bute to fight me next this fall, and he said no,’ Pascal told the On The Ropes boxing radio show.

‘So I was really disappointed because I think Lucian Bute’s fans deserve more than that. Lucian Bute is a great fighter but he’s always fighting boxers below his level, and he needs to step up his game and fight boxers of his caliber.

‘So you know we offered him to fight me for the fourth time, and he said no. So I was really disappointed by him. Lucian Bute needs to get more balls, to risk himself a little bit, to try to roll the dice because one day it’s going to catch him.

‘Anyone can be the pound-for-pound boxer when they seek out boxers. Once when he’s in a fight with a real boxer, he’s going to see adversity and he’s not going to be able to do anything because it’s going to be his first time facing adversity.’

                Arthur Abraham - He's returning to 160
Anthony Dirrell - Still kinda green and has a big test ahead of him
Mikkel Kessler- Bute AGREED to fight him later this year, but Kessler opted to go for an easier title shot. That's not Bute's fault
Sakio Bika - What's the point? He already beat him once.
Allan Green - The dude lost every single round against Ward and got KO'ed by Johnson
Peter Quillin - Still green. Needs to step up the level of opposition.
Pavlik- This is who he's most likely fighting next

So out of everyone on this list, only Green, Quillin and Pavlik make any sense at this point. I'd prefer Pavlik over Green, and I need to see more from Quillin before I'll want to see that fight. He's fighting Pavlik, so why is everyone b**ching about his opponents?
Quillin and Anthony being green shouldn't matter. What's worse than being green, is being Paul Mendy.

He ran out of gas is the only reason. He changed his training and started training in florida with glen johnson, now he knows how to get in shape. Hasn't shown any signs of fatigue.

It would probably be hard to get him to fight glen. He was thanking him for teaching him how to really get in shape after his fights. I wish kessler had manned up or dirrell would come back. Those are the only 2 i care to see bute in with till the super 6 is over.
