How about Lucian Bute-Glen Johnson?

Bute's people wouldn't do it. Glen landed some big shots on Froch, I doubt Bute has the same chin.

If theyre gonna put him in a dangerous fight, they go ahead and make some $$$ against Kessler. Johnson is to risky.

I'd prefer to see Bute in with Dirrell, Froch, or Ward.

But I'd sooner see him in with Johnson than with Pavlik.

If he stopped Johnson, that would be significant.

So is Dirrell.

Either Johnson or Pavlik would give Bute a fair fight but Bute needs to start fighting the top of the division, either Ward or Froch or whoever wins their fight.

Bute vs The Super 6 Winner will be huge. Bute's people aren't gonna risk that by putting him in with Johnson.

I'd rather see him against Dirrell or Kessler or even Abraham. Facing Johnson wouldn't be that great of a risk for him because if he wins people will just say that GJ is old anyway. Better for Bute's first test to be against a younger fighter.
