Mendy has a new nickname glass jaw Mendy, that punch did not even seem that hard. Bute has been looking excellent against b-class super middleweights. Now to get the real respect of the fans he's going to have to go through Froch, Ward, Kessler, Pavlik and the road warrior in consecutive order if he really wants the respect of the fans. Because just fighting one of the above mentioned is not going to be enough it is legacy time for Bute.

¿Barely landed & grazed him at best? u better take a good look again..I repeated(on youtube) the exact moment he landed that left hand punch right on the jaw(under the right ear, the sweet spot) & it landed clean & hard & the replay shows it landing flush from different angles..That's the same exact spot Sergio Martinez hit Paul Williams when he annihilated Williams in 2 rounds..
