    Dean Powell, matchmaker for Frank Warren Promotions, has confirmed that Frankie Gavin will be unable to hit the contracted 10st 4lb weight limit for next Saturday’s fight with Curtis Woodhouse at Liverpool’s ECHO Arena and will instead come in at the 10st 7lb welterweight division limit.

    Gavin seemingly lacks discipline. He is not even big enough for 140, never mind 147. The top guys at 147 will destroy him. Kell Brook will wipe the floor with him.

      not good.

      not good at all. He looked two weight classes smaller than young Muttley in his last fight, now this.

      He has no business fighting above 140 yet he can't make 144. Somethings wrong there.
