i liked ike alot he was a real fighter , but there is no doubt in my mind he would have killed someone in the ring , if he had gone nuts in the ring it would have taken alot to stop him and given boxing a worse reputation.

speaking of going nuts , thats why mike tyson never made it in the pro wrestling world . he would not have been able to follow the script and would have crippled or killed another wrestler .

both ike and mike are nuts and its better for boxing that they are both out of the game .

Ike would be champion by now if he hadn't gone to prison. Both men seem to be mentally unstable at times but both brought excitment and ferouciness that the mainstream fans love, and while the purists may hate what Tyson had become in terms of his personality he was exciting and actually made mainstream sports media talk about boxing.

Ike was a savior who got crucified before he could save the division.Make no mistake about it u are wrong in saying that boxing is better off without Ike, Ike had the ability to be a world champion.

its funny how people always say "its better for boxing" like they actually know where they are talking about

bottome line boxing is a brutal sport two men come to do battle with the main intent to hurt the other guy at all cost

so with that said how is Ike or Mike bad for boxing....if any Mike made the sport far more famous and far more money then any other.......as far as Ike he would of be champ right now undisputed......the man had skills and he is not crazy in my opinion just misunderstood....i promise you i could sit down with Ike and Mike and have a conversation and not be scared .......the guy is not crazy

I've heard some stories about Ike, from people who met him, and he definitely had some serious mental issues. Much, much worse than Tyson.
