i've talked to a few of my friends who are also sports fans and travelers about this fight,and they told me the best venue for them would be las vegas. because they would go from slovenia to germany and from there they have direct flights to vegas on some airports. and they liked to see it as tourists too. any other destination barring major US cities like chicago,washington, LA and NY would be problematic. and salt lake city is also close to vegas so those slovenians living there would surely go greet zavec. and not to mention it's probably got the most quality judges there too. i hope dibella reads this lol. but we'll see.

Not bad Vegas is a good venue for this fight,and will most likely have some good judges there(which should be Zaveck's main concern)..I hope Dibella reads this as well..Should be a good one tho,I just want a nice fair fight..Tired of one fighter having an edge because of hometown ref's or judges..

yeah this will be funny. because berto is a product of marketing ,and hasn't really found his audience yet. zaveck might have some drawing power if they promote him correctly. namely mexicans like fighters who come to fight and come from the social bottom. zaveck is also charismatic and well... he's white.

most american slovenians are in philadelphia, and around salt lake city if they're gonna consider that too.
so i think these considerations might narrow down the venues somewhat.
for all i care they can fight in slovenia we have a 16,000 seat football stadium ready if berto dares to come.

Zavec won't have any drawing power. If you're looking to target the Slovene ethnic base, Chicago would be your best best, but honestly most Slovene-Americans are from families that have been here almost 100 years and aren't too interested in their heritage. Berto is a young Haitian immigrant who hasn't been able to find a fanbase yet either.

The fight will probably end up at the Foxwoods in Conneticut or Boardwalk Hall in Atlanic City.

this fight hasn't even been finalized yet. apparently they just have the TV date set up for now. let's wait with the bets for now, although from what it seems there are few berto fans here lol!

idk what dibella expects from the fans of both but these are not good venues. regardless ,more bad news is that at the same time there will be european basketball championship in lithuania where they expect a record number of slovenian fans (over 4000) so this may hurt interest in zavec somewhat. i still think if they have it in vegas some 50-100 fans will come directly from slovenia to greet him.
