  • Comments Thread For: Khan: Mayweather Wants Me, Freddie and Me Accepted!

During a recent interview with the BBC, WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan discussed the possibility of fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2012. Mayweather returns on September 17 against WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, while Khan has a scheduled unification on July 23 against IBF champion Zab Judah. If both of them win their upcoming fights, Khan believes the possibility of facing Mawyeather is very realistic.

Let's leave this damn OST out of this shiz please.

This ain't Pacquiao, Khan will take the test. If he gets past Judah and defends one more time then why not? It was Mayweather who went to Richard Shizer about facing Khan. Why would he turn the shot down? He'd be an idiot.

Mayweather beats Khan IMO but still a very good fight. I would love to see it.

didn't khan say he wanted to unify the 140 before moving up? because floyd will fight at 147 that's for sure. this kid is saying weird things.

If Khan takes the tests, Pacquiao will be shamed forever. That would honestly show that Roach wasn't opposed to it, but he supported his fighter's right to hide what was flowing in his veins that may hurt his legacy. It would hurt Roach's legacy as a coach too because it would mean that Pacquiao's success wasn't predicated upon what he had to teach him.

This is so long off that it doesn't even make sense to discuss. Its like having a fantasy boxing league. That's pathetic.

If he beats Judah and then Bradley, like he's planning then I think he would move to 147 anyway having all major belts in the division. It would be dumb to pass on the chance to face Mayweather as well but I really do hope once (if) Khan gets past Judah, and Bradley steps up. I'm really really waiting for that to take place.

It's going to be hard when the guy with the other two belts doesn't want to fight you!
