when the hell did freddie roach become a promoter? He doesn't decide fights. It was schaefer who started on about khan fighting floyd and floyd giving the go ahead. Golden boy decides who khan fights, not freddie. And khan just spilled the beans on what i suspected.

IMO Freddie is the one who decides who and when Khan wnd manny fight, this has been proven with guys like dela hoya, mosely, mallignaggi etc.

i'm sure freddie is consulted about who his wards might possibly face but companies like top rank and gbp pay big money to matchmakers to make those evaluations. The final decision is obviously made by the heads of the promotional companies, not trainers.
