a Super 8 of HW would be amazing

a Super 8 of HW would do well to boxing. It is a lie that there are no good boxers, while Klit dominate the division, there are class boxers who do not get to compete against each other, and boxers who would have some chans against the brothers.

I would put boxers to compete are these

    Vitali
    Wladimir
    Odlanier Solis
    David Haye
    Tomasz Adamek
    Ruslan Chagaev
    Alexander Povetkin
    Chris Arreola/Eddie Chambers/Robert Helenius

And while competing for two years or so these guys, other fighters like Chris Arreola / Eddie Chambers / Robert Helenius, Derek Chisora, Tyson Furi, Kubrat Pulev, Alexander Dimitrenko, Samuel Peter, Denis Boytsov, Mike Perez, Deontay Wilder have time to compete with each other and make the heavy divicion, a division more solid and more public attention

i liked the idea of the super 8 at first but it just takes so long. i think single elimination style is much better in an era where top 10 fighters only wanna get down twice a year...if that.

with that being said, i dont think this would work with the heavyweight division as wlad and vitali beat all those guys and we'll be left without a final match in the tournament since they won't fight each other

You should really rethink your list, it doesn't make sense. First of, Wladimir and Vitaly will never fight each other. Second, Solis is layed up in a hospital, he won't be fighting for at least a year, in fact, I would venture to say that he is probably done with boxing period. Gayevid? LOL - he won't fight anyone, he only wants a shot at Wlad and that's it. Also, you do realize that Wlad and Vitaly have already beaten most of the fighters on that list, don't you? In fact, after Vitaly finishes Adamek, the only fighter that hasn't lost to them would be Helenius and Povetkin (who has ducked a shot at Wlad twice already). Shiat list, make a new one.

Finally, a super 8-type elimination to see who will face Wlad or Vitaly makes sense but why the hell would Wladimir and Vitaly would enter that? They control all the belts, they make all the money, and they have already beaten everybody. A super-8 elimination among top contenders makes sense but to put Wladimir and Vitaly in there is just ludicrous and will never happen.

There's not much in it for the K's as they have all the belts and wont fight each other.

There should be a tournament of 8 American heavyweights to determine a new worthy title challenger to the Klitschkos.

Mitchell, Rodriguiz, Wilder, Hanks, Kaufmann, and 3 others.

Or it could be 4 HWs, perhaps the first four above.

(this should not include Chambers, Thompson, Johnson and Arreola who are already contenders).

Nah.. Only something like 'Rocky' will make heavyweight interesting now. Some talent search to find the next best American HW to challenge the K. bros.

              How about:

              Fury v Chisora
              Chagaev v Povetkin
              Chambers v Thompson
              Helenius v Dimitrenko

for quarter finals of a 'Super 8', and the eventual winner gets a shot at Wlad. The first three are already happening or look like they'll be happening, and it'd be good for Helenius to fight for the EBU title.

It all leads to a K-bro beating whoever wins.

                    Dont like it......

The division without Haye beating Wlad is stale again. The two top fighters are brothers who wont fight each other. Just a lame division.
