How to get Press Passes to Fights

I know big writers of course get them, but I've actually come across a few people who have gotten press passes to a few fairly know cards.

My questions is: How hard is it to get press passes to fights like say in the magnitude of "Lara vs Williams" or others.

Do you have to write for a big newspaper or be a big known writers to get them, or will having a few featured articles on a couple of sites get you a press pass ?

Are you a writer/webmaster/photographer? If first or third, you're editor/webmaster handles it for you.
