Nah, the people you are quoting, Hatton Calzaghe Oscar etc are Law breakers, involved in VICE, drugs, which kill thousands every year and lead hundreds of thousands every year into miserable addictions and degredation. That's not "living it up".

At a guess, my choices would be Max Baer and Jack Dempsey (and Hector Camacho up to a point). Baer lived it up so much that his nickname was "Madcap Maxie". Dempsey, before he fought and lost to Tunney lived it up in Hollywood for 3 years or more. He was basically retired. People don't seem to know these things. Those were simpler and more innocent days.

Harry Greb was reputed to be more a womanizer than a boozehound. In fact although i have read much about Greb for many years, I never heard that he was ever a boozehound. He was described by an acquaintance one time as having casual sex, getting dressed, going to thr arena waltzing through 10 rounds and then going back to the hotel room and the girl.

He was notorious for this sort of behaviour, and all ther experts talked about it. But not booze.

By the way, during the years that those books you quoted mentioned, about Walker, Greb etc. alcohol was prohibited in the United States, and was hard to obtain. had to be smuggled in from Canada. The beer was made locally by Mafia mobs.
