Reasons to Like Zab Judah

Its certainly harder to name reasons to like him rather than to hate him. (I dont fall into either camp)

The Chicken dance is one up for him though .

-Prior to turning pro, Judah, who compiled an extraordinary 110-5 amateur record, was a two-time U.S. national amateur champion, three-time New York Golden Gloves champion and won the 1996 PAL Nationals.

-Failed to make the 1996 Olympic team, overcame adversity and eventually won a world title. Underdog story to an extent.

-Came back from the loss to KT and won the WBO Junior Welterweight Title by defeating Demarcus Corley, and defended it by knocking out Rangel in his defense.

-Moved up in weight from 140 to 147 and was robbed by Spinks in his first fight. However around a month later he decisevly beat Pineda for the WBOIC. Defended that title by stopping Rangel in the first round in impressive fashion.

-Rematched Spinks for the UNDISPUTED WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP of the world and knocked him out. Spinks, who had faced punchers such as Ricardo Mayorga and Miguel Angel Gonzales and had never been knocked out before.

-Defended his UNDISPUTED title against #1 contender Cosme Rivera by impressive first round stoppage

-Is arguably one of the best fighters in the sport and holds wins over Micky Ward, Terron Millett, Junior "Hitter" Witter, Jan Bergman, "Showtime" Reggie Green, Omar Weis and the forementioned.

I've always liked Judah as a boxer. But as a person, I didn't really like him, because of the way he behaved after losing his fight with Kostya Tszyu(spelling?). Recently though, I like him a little more because he fought for chump change in the rematch with Spinks.

spinks beat him, rivera is below average and was stopped in the third round, not first
the his only decent wins are against an underdeveloped witter and close split decision to corley, who was disposed of by floyd in his next fight
not to impressive, but has the talent to be great
has a bad attitude and was dropped three times by one punch.

well i don't get it you will let your kid watch 2 guys beat the hell out of eachother and watch blood fly around the ring but your main problem is language ? they probably hear their parents say the same things

and as far as accepting defeat well you show me a man that will just accept defeat easily and i will so you someone that is not a man.....

i have no problem with is personality i actually like it....but i don't really watch him as a fighter i like his interviews i like a guy that is sure of himself and not afraid to let everybody know it.....bottome line its two men fighting in the ring the ultimate form of bragging rights when you a male in society it all boils down to if you can fight....you can argue with a guy all day you can make more money then the next guy you can even be smarter then the next guy....but what happens when that guy decides to kick your ass
